The Moroso 20962 is a fully fabricated aluminum deep sump oil pan engineered for Subaru EJ20, EJ22, and EJ25 engines in the WRX, STI, Forester XT, Outback XT, and Legacy GT platforms. The one-piece 3/8 in. billet aluminum oil pan rail provides the rigid, flat sealing surface needed for a consistent, leak-free gasket seal — a significant upgrade over factory steel pans prone to warping over time. The deep sump design increases oil volume, improving thermal management and reducing the risk of oil starvation during spirited street driving, rally stages, and track days.

The included windage tray and integrated slosh baffle work together to prevent oil from sloshing away from the pickup during hard cornering, braking, and acceleration. The heavy-duty braced pickup tube features dual additional mounting points for secure retention under high-RPM vibration. A 1/2 in. NPT fitting supports turbocharger oil drain-back or crankcase ventilation plumbing. Note that the oil pan mounting hardware stud kit (Moroso PN: 38368) and the oil pump pickup (Moroso PN: 24969) are sold separately and are required for complete installation.
